today I read about Kony 2012 and shared a link with all my friends, so even if someone didnt know will know now about this heinous criminal in Africa.
I got sick - posted an update so then friends called to find out how I was doing..great way to convey a message when living here in the US you even might not know your own neighbor, but he happens to be your FB friend(since he is a common friend of your friend)..

I am smitten by it .. yet after spending sometime , I feel guilty that I wasted my time on facebook.
kids asking for permission to create their facebook accounts as their bday gifts.. how far can it go?
this has been here and will probably stay .. google+ didnt fly that high.. buzz - I wonder how many seriously use it.. orkut is history.. FB's in for a long haul!! there I said it!!! and now the wheel will turn and something new will replace the FACE of facebook.. or will it!!!

Hmmm....maladies and melodies of e-living....!! Times are changing and so have we.....! With the advent of FB, I have started communicating with people (esp. those from Kolkata) who are related to our family but owing to the urban life style and distance, I have never known them. Everytime I have visited my family in Kolkata (while in Delhi, or Barmer in Rajasthan or after marriage), it has been always due to a stiulated time period, or some occassion like marriage or the supreme event. Through this amazing thing...i have connected with the eledr force of the family (kakus, cousins, cousin in laws) whom I would not even meet while in Kolkata. This si the greatest gift of this social space. My daughter also cribs to have a page and I have made her one but it is strictly under close supervision. Time waste....hmmm..বলতে পারিশ....FB চেক না করলে যেন দিন তাই বৃথা কাটে...হাহাহা কিন্তু অনেক অন্য engagement থেকে ভাল কিন্তু...তোর গান কবে আপলোড করছিস?
haha!! sudeshna just for that sake I am holding off from posting, liking or commenting this month nov 2013... but ya i do chek from time to time for messages ;-)
